Pebblefish

Sir Tet

This game series explores the idea of the camera and player perspective in video games. The original titular game, designed by Nicholas Dyszel and developed by Claire Andrews, turns the puzzle game Tetris on its side by rendering the game from the perspective of the falling piece. Nicholas Dyszel is following this with Snek: Sir Tet's Space-Bending Pet. Based off the puzzle game Snake popularized by old Nokia flip phones, the snake is rendered as a straight line of constant length. The board then warps around it, expanding and contracting as neccessary.

The High Note

Nicholas drew upon his experience playing piano to create a brief clip expressing the challenges of perfecting music in a slightly humorous manner. The aim of this was to gain familiarity with animation tools using Blender.
